Forgot to mention how much I loved Feist's performance of "Hey, That's No Way to Say Goodbye" for the Leonard Cohen tribute. That was beautiful.

And congrats to Sarah McLachlan for her well deserved Hall of Fame induction. Her speech was fantastic.

I've never been to the Junos, so it was neat to watch. I was on the PM's side - that was kind of cool. I found it amusing that Sean Mendes had a security guard with him in the stands, but the PM didn't.

When I saw Billy Ray there working, my heart jumped. But then I realized that's all he was doing - working. Paul is awesome, and damn right, it's his arena!

I also went to the Songwriters circle earlier in the day. Some great acoustic performances by Paul Murphy of Wintersleep and Donovan Woods. Some may not like her, but Chantal Kreviazuk gave me the chills and brought others to tears with Surrounded. And I never get tired of hearing Lovers in a Dangerous Time.

Oh you better believe that the PM was the most protected person in that building. There were security around him, even if it wasn't obvious. When I saw the PM in Kingston at the Hip show, I walked up to him when he was walking down the street and asked for a selfie, but security wasn't having it... There were also snipers on the roofs of surrounding buildings. It was pretty intense.
