How would it be an insult to the fans?

You pay to see the hip and what they have to offer, it's their show, not the audiences. We are just along for the ride.

If they played songs they were sick of or weren't digging at the time it would be telling the audience "well, I don't like these songs, but to please you we will play songs we don't want to play, simply to get a payday".

For me, I want to see an artist do what they want to do, these music is their art, not ours and they owe us nothing.

Well if Gord D signs an autograph for you it usually reads
"It's your show we just played it"

My guess is that Heaven Is a Better Place will certainly be played at the Atlanta show.

On this tour I've seen the boys play 5 shows. Understanding that I was at all 4 Artpark shows, the set lists were extremely varied and quite pleasing. I was also at the Highland Bowl show in Rochester and must say that despite it being a much more "Greatest Hits" style set list I REALLY enjoyed it. I think that when you go to these shows you need to keep an open mind. Consider the music of today's teenagers...when they attend a show they hear the same songs with the same dance and the same lines between songs in the same order EVERY NIGHT! Every crowd has a different feel and brings a new flair to even the most played songs in the hips repertoire.

If the rarities return...maybe the October 3rd crowd in hamilton will be treated to "Montreal" seeing as they have played it live twice before in my presence....why not a third time? Smile

You then sir, have nothing to complain about if they come out, play NOIS and leave halfway through the final chorus.
