Been listening all week to Cracker’s newest Sun Rise in the Land of Milk and Honey – a great rocking album from the title track to Hey Bret (You Know What Time It Is) and Show Me How This Thing Works not to mention a classic country ode to Friendship with this line:
Now when you’re on a date and you finally bring that girl home,
Put on some Captain Beefheart on the stereo and you disconnect the phone.
I’ll show up drunk and raving, and then I’ll pass out on the spot
‘Cause that’s the kind of friend that you’ve got."
– the only draw back is the album ends too soon….

Ben Harper and the Relentless 7 - White Lies for Dark Times. I was pumped for it and certainly hasn't let me down.
Probably the best album I have heard this year along with WATS
Seeing him tonight at the Pheonix as well! Can't wait.

- Pretty cool group out of Kentucky.
- Sounds like mixture of Beck and White Stripes but different in many ways. Lots of catchy songs.
- They have some songs streaming on their site and have some on youtube
Alexisonfire - Old Crows/Young Cardinals
- Great from start to finish! Not as heavy screaming as other albums but still intense.
- The song "The Northern" is incredible!!
- Born and Raised, Emerald Street, Sons of Privilege, and Heading for the Sun are my early favs.
- I think it is one of those bands you either love or hate. If you already hate them, no sense giving it a listen but if you like Dallas Green's vocals, they definitely make the album great.

I love the new Hayden album its going right up to no.2 right after WATS.
..and despite all the haters the new OLP album sounds awesome.

Bought the new Cracker album today, and it's amazing. Best thing they've done since The Golden Age. This album and the new Dinosaur Jr. are both kicking my ass right now.
