My understanding is that the parking will be on the West Zwicks side and that the stage will be set up near the dog park on the hill? That means facing south east which is the water. People around here seem convinced that they can get 20,000 into the park. It is the parking lot that would concern me more. I will give people an inside track on where to park if interested.

Sorry if I sound a little ignorant on this one but with the pre sale will there be actual assigned floor seating say like in Kingston or is just going to be first come first serve basis out on the field? I am trying to figure out if they would bring chairs in for this?

No chance of assigned seating at an outdoor temporary venue.

That's the only thing I hate about outdoor shows, I mean I love the fact that one is "free to roam" so to speak, but there's always a bunch of drunken obnoxious 20-25 year olds ready to crack your skull in unless you move to let them through to the front.

I love outdoor general admission shows because it allows me to see the show from right up front. I don't crack people's skulls though, I just show up early. I feel it creates a better atmosphere for a concert as well. I saw the Foo Fighters a little while ago, and the open floor with no chairs helped make it one of the best arena shows I've ever seen. I really wish the Hip would take that approach for their arena shows.

I'm totally with you on this one, I love GA shows for the fact that I can show up early and get a good "seat" but every one that I've been to the assholes in the crowd seem to gravitate to me, so it makes it less pleasurable.

Its usually bad enough at Hip shows on the floor in seated sections with drunk retarded assholes.. I'd hate to see what the assholes would do at a g.a. floor show. They certainly show up for outdoor g.a. events.
