How did I miss this thread?? Thank you so much for posting this. That version of "Fire in the Hole" is amazing, and "Figment" sounds much better with the Sadies than it did with the Country of Miracles. This album they're doing together is gonna be killer!

No way, man. "Figment" sounds way better with Gord and TCOM than it does with the Sadies. I had been looking for this Gord/Sadies show for a while and I'm glad someone found an archive of the show. It is cool to hear, but I actually didn't like the collaboration as much as I thought I would. The Sadies are great musicians and have their own thing going, though. I didn't like the stuff they did with Neko Case, either, to be honest. I'm sure I'm in the minority, though.
