Sept 12th Saint John cancellation confirmed.

My wife and I were planning our trip down east so I went to the site to get the dates and noticed it was gone. I e-mailed hip.com and MAv told me it was cancelled. No e-mail from the hip and nothing from Harbour. Glad we didn't get all the way down there to see it was cancelled.

I understand the frustration, but how would The Hip, or the ticket seller be able to contact everyone who bought tickets and let them know the show was cancelled? It was posted to thehip.com that it was cancelled...

How do you contact some and not others? How do they choose that? Maybe just a refund on my CC would have been a good indication.
I'm on the Hip e-mail list for a reason. I would think this would be one of the things that would get sent out. I didn't check the site that frequently during the time it was up there I guess.

Who did they contact? Find out who contacted them, and that's who you should take this up with. ..

Page two of this thread indicates some that were contacted. It's what inspired me to post. Am I not allowed to post on this thread or something? Why the hard time?

If you consider this a "hard time" I would definitely move on to another forum.

You can post all you want, but as this is a forum, other members can post their thoughts as well. I get that you're upset, but the people who were contacted were contacted by Harbour Station. Get on the phone and grumble at them. If they have your contact info and didn't call you, but called some others, you've got an issue that I'd argue. If they don't have your details as you got your tickets through some other method, I think that you are in a tough spot. But thankfully you did learn that the show was cancelled before getting there.

Well I just got here and am finding some good stuff in here - so I don't think I'll move on just yet. Thanks though. I just didn't really see the point of your post in repsonse to mine. Sure I have a gripe with them and have addressed it as such, however, a post in reply to this thread certainly wasn't unwarranted.

I just replied to this with my thoughts. I'm not on some rant here or something.
I can see by your post count that you tend to speak on alot of threads. I'll take it as your two cents to my newbie post and leave it as such.
Thanks for the welcome to the forum. Smile
