That's what the word had been the last week mark, but looks like they lied Smile

Alice Cooper is one of the openers for Halifax.

Alice Cooper? What the heck is wrong with the world of music? Yikes. I guess Cooper is one of those "young" acts or even moreso, "temporary acts". I'd consider going to the show but if it's Alice Cooper and the Stones, I don't know. I've already seen the Stones so I know what to expect. It'd be nice to see them again though, I suppose.

Looks like the 2:00pm start has changed to 4:30pm... So It sounds like there may have been an opening act that is no longer going to be opening.

Alice Cooper and The Stones... Hmm, definetely won't be heading to this one unless The Hip magically get confirmed... And as much as I would love to see them again ASAP, i'd almost be relieved to know they AREN'T going to be opening because I don't much wanna spend money to go see Alice Cooper and The Stones...

According to Q104 in Halifax this morning (Aug 1), either the Hip or Nickelback are rumoured to be openers. NOTHING is confirmed and I didn't plan on going, but if I miss the Hip I'll be pissed!

I found out from the girl at work today that it was one of the Moncton stations who had The Hip pinned as an opener for the concert (not our local station) Either way, this sucks, i'm in the same boat as you highlander

Holy Crap, those tickets are expensive!

$317.25 each - VIP Gold Circle reserved bleacher seating
$116.25 each - Regular general admission, standing room only
$96.25 each - Student* general admission, standing room only
On Stage Experience tickets are also available online for $517.25

I was going to use this as an excuse to visit my friends in Hali, but I think now I'll have to wait for a better one. :? I don't like the Stones that much.

Why did I hear that this concert was going to be less expensive than the Moncton Stones show? Does anybody tell the truth in this world anymore? Is Alice Cooper still alive?

Kanye West is the other opener.
