It's the Habs' motto. If I recall correctly, it was painted above the players' locker room exit at the old Forum, and players would reach up and touch it as they made their way onto the ice.
I'm not sure if they've done the same thing at the Bell Centre though.
Really??!! I had no idea. That's nuts. It seems such an unlikely place to draw your motto from. Anyway, yes, question answered.
