Too bad O-dog had to go... but the AL is more about the O than the D anyway. I was surprised to hear Glaus was only 29, I thought he was older than that. Anyway, if he can be the power guy as he's been in the past, this is a big move by the Jays! They are looking more and more like they are trying to pull out the stops and go for it this year... and why not, with the Red Sox and the Yanks looking shaky?

This team is going to be something this year. With Halladay and Burnett as one and two in the rotation, the Jays' pitching will be considerably better this year. Bringing in Glaus has added some much needed power.

they also picked up CALIFORNIA angels world series vet/champ Ben Weber this week
he's gettin on in age and had some shoulder problems, but i like the move, great veteran in the pen, although he was signed a minor league contract, he'll hopefully have a good shot at cracking the roster in spring training

Oh....sorry to hear that, Jays fans. He was here in Cincy last year. Hurt half the season, and when he wasn't, he sucked donkey balls.
I think he's done.
That's okay. It didn't sound like they expected him to be an integral part of the team or anything.
