I would like to nominate Tthip (aka Dana), for the Hipbase Member of the Year Award. Dana has spearheaded the "Download of the Week" project, in the Downloading and Trading discussion. Over 20 rare and unreleased Tragically Hip songs are available in MP3 format, for Hipbase members to freely download on a weekly basis. This dedication to the Hipbase community should definately be recognized as a candiate for the award.

Sorta disappointing.
As for the thread, ya, if i had to be for or against the award, i'd be against it. It's a community comprised of a bunch of individuals. No need to go beyond that. But whatever.

During the World Album Premiere radio broadcast for Hipeponymous I called in to ask the band a question about their new website. They directed the question to MAv who replied wth a simple answer. Just after they cut me off, and had returned to talking with the band, MAv pipes up from the background and says, "Wait! Is that Chris Chris?" And then Gord D. mocks me a bit, and then they return to the interview... and that is why people are referring to me as Chris Chris.
