Quote:haha...no, it want discussed here..but over in the pit there are sooo many people complaining about it...its hilarious...

i wasnt attacking you...i just thought you might have read it over there

No harm done. I had read the first 3 or 4 pages over at the pit on this subject and then couldn't handle it anymore so I know where you are coming from!!

Quote:did anyone else here drop a grand US on the canadian poster set...damn this ones gonna hurt!!

Nope but $1000 US is a lot of money to spend on anything, let alone a poster set. Mind you it will be a collector's item(s) in due time so I imagine it would be a good investment, not to mention the personal satisfaction you will get from owning something like that!

This thread got a tiny bit sidetracked, I dont mind, I just never got my original question answered.

Is anyone from the Hibase going to the London Pearl Jam concert? And if there's enough of us, does anyone want to try and do a meet-up at a local bar? Being a Monday we shouldnt have much troubles getting in anywhere.

Okay let the fun continue.......

Imagine a world before the "beginning was the word.”

Sorry - could only afford one show this round and Toronto was closer! Have a great time though!

I'll be making a cameo at the JLA...oh MAN, my first of seven shows is ONE WEEK FROM TODAY! Big Grin

Also, Pearl Jam dropped "Hard to Imagine" last night for the first time since 1998. If I hear this song live, in London or anywhere else, I might retire from active concertgoing.

I was over at the PJ forum just a few minutes ago and some of the reports of last night's setlist that are coming in are simply amazing! Definitely a show everyone is going to want to download. 37 songs and 3 hours and 20 minutes of on stage time!

Setlist looked like this:

Quote:Acoustic Set: I believe in miracles, Small Town, Off he Goes, low light, man of the hour, i am mine, crazy mary, black, HARD TO IMAGINE

Electric Set: Last exit, save you, do the evolution, alone, sad, even flow, not for you, cover or an improv or a new song?, corduroy, dissident, mfc, undone, daughter (unknown tag), in my tree (new), state of love and trust, alive, Porch, LBC, Insignificance, RVM, betterman

Encore: I won't back down, Last Kiss, Crown of Thorns, blood

Encore 2: Yellow Ledbetter, Baba O'Riley

I certainly would like to hear some more new material but if we get half of what they played last night on the Canadian Tour, I doubt there will be any other live show that could top it - Except for maybe the Hip but that's just my opinion 8)
