Well the big show is exactly 2 weeks away. So who's else is going to the London show? Anybody interested in doing a hipbase type meet-up before the show? If so post up and lets make it happen, if there is enough of us going from here. If not its still going to kick major ass, I cant wait!!!! Especially now that the shows are going to be available for download just hours after the shows, what a great idea, beats having to wait for it to come out in the stores.

1st show? you're in for a treat...i saw them for the first time a few years back, ended up seeing them 3 more times in 2 weeks...one of the best live acts around...i was really lucky to see them at the commodore in vancouver...one of the best nights of my life
 Yeah I dont know how to explain my tardiness, I should have seen this band 20 times by now, for some unknown reason I just never did..maybe cause I blew all my concert money on Hip tickets. This show will make up for it though, especially since its in my own backyard, it will be worth the wait Im sure. :thumb:
Only 6 days til the Calgary show. Woohoooo!!!!!
:jump

I'm in the exact same situation LK; except I heading to the Toronto show...
I agree with you guys. I can't believe I've been a Pearl Jam fan for so long and the Toronto show will be the first time I'm seeing them. I still don't know where I'm sitting because I got Ten Club tickets. I'm hoping there at least lower bowl or close floors seats.

I'm a PJ Live virgin too! Heading to the show in the T-Dot with Chris! I guess we will have our special night together eh?

hock:
Yeah Baby!
you guys are all in for the best concert you'll EVAR see... last time I saw them was two years ago on the riot act tour and they totally blew me away. No offence to Gord, but Eddie is my favourite frontman for fun, totally cool voice, and just the best stage presence....
Can't remember if I posted this or not... but at first there was only one show scheduled in Detroit and I missed out on tickets.
Then they scheduled a second night and I managed to land a pair. We got there pretty early, before the opening act started, just as we were getting to our seats... i see somone walk to the mic with an acoustic guitar... I turn to my girlfriend and I'm like 'I think that's Eddie'... (we were in row 50 and I can't see worth a damn so I wasn't sure)... anyway, my suspicions were confirmed a second later and all we hear from the speakers is vedder saying "for all you early birds I'm going to play a song" and he proceeds to play Throw Your Arms Around Me... words can't describe it... coolest damn thing I've ever seen at a concert.
The rest of the night was a blast, and I was glad I got tickets to the second night because they played all of my favourites that night, a bunch of which they hadn't played the night before.
Anyway, that's my PJ story.
holy crap!!

Holy Crap is right!
I like that setlist a whole lot and if it is any indication of what they will be playing this tour, then I surely can't wait!

a sign of great things to come!!!
Am I blind, or am I not seeing any new songs in that setlist?? In a recent interview, Stone Gossard mentioned that they'd be playing lots of new stuff on the upcoming tour. Maybe they're just waiting to debut them in Canada.
Other than that, I definitely agree. That's a great set!
I just went on ticketmaster and there are tickets available for the show at Copps on the 13th. I just picked up a pair of lower bowl seats!!! WOO HOO!!!!!!!! 2 Pearl Jam shows this month now!!!

I just checked and the only ones left are behind the stage

But lower bowl though...
Ya I got ones behind the stage but I'm sure it'll still be a good show.
