I'd go with The Laws Are Changing, but Poets is a good choice too.

The New Pornographers would be the PERFECT opening band for The Hip. What a show that would be.

That would be a killer show...I'd actually say more people know who the New Pornographers are than The Tragically Hip though believe or not...It's just the way the music scene is now in Canada.

You're right. Outside of Canada I imagine THE NP, Arcade Fire, Metric, The Stars, BSS are all more known than The Hip.
