They're real, I saw some on the jungleland ride many years ago at Disney World. Then again...oh wait....

NEVERMIND!

See! It's a big conspiracy. I've been searching for the truth since grade 8.

And then there's the whole house hippo issue:

I've put out plates and plates of peanut-butter toast and have never seen one yet.

Some hippos are green, some are pink, some are orange... but one thing is constant:
They are hungry, hungry for those white marbles!

There was a girl back home who thought that commercial was real. She also thought her Social Insurance card was her health card until she was 22. Take that Darwin!

Practically Hip are playing in Grand Bend on August 17th. Its about a 40 minute drive from London for you London folks.

They are at Gables. Interesting enough, the Hip played on the same stage back when they were starting out. Gord talked about it during the IBE album launch at the Mod Club in 2004.

PM me if you are planning on coming out and we can meet up!

Just got back from the Road Apples concert. The Road Apples not only still have it but they are even better. It is a physical impossibility that any HIP cover band can top them. Because to top the Road Apples you would need Gordie, Johnny, Paul, Gord and Bobby in the band.

Immediately makes me think that a fantastic name would be "The Maddening Droplets"

tina Wrote:I agree these guys are good. But I have to put my vote in for Practically HIP! Dean really has Gord down to a T.
I believe Mike owns the golf course out Bath way.
Road Apples have been known to still play AJ's here in KTOWN

it was hillarious watching Gord move through the Hamilton Place crowd, interacting with fans by letting them shout crap into the mic as he walked on top of the chairs to the back of the room. He was heading straight for Dean who was in the audience who probably had the biggest pants bulge going thinking his idol was going to interact with him. Well Gord stepped right on over him without blinking an eye...
