I'm betting on Gus, but Are We Family would be so fitting.

Are we familly for sure, They are trying to get the country and world to get together for this cause. Are we Family would be a good choice.

I was thinking IAGLIYDW might be appropriate considering the mood of the event, but Are We Family would be amazing...

Anybody know where this is taking place? And if it's even live? (I know that Blue Rodeo's set (couple songs) were recorded on the weekend, because they have a gig tonight in Mount Forest)......

It's a Good Life If You Don't Weaken...that's OK, it took me a minute too!

I would be v disappointed with Good Life...last thing I need is to sit through all the bands I don't like only to fall asleep when the Hip plug in.

i heard an interview with alex lifeson from rush this morning on 103.9 the hawk, and he said that they pre taped closer to the heart with ed robertson from BNL and bubbles. Bubbles will probably playing the guitar because he played it on an episode of trailer park boys where alex lifeson made a few cameo appearances.

Bubbles was the guitarist in a band called Sandbox as discussed here: http://www.hipbase.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=5516

I just watched that clip for the first time, and Gord's hair was hilarious  Awesome cover though. As for the benefit, Im guessing ABAC, Courage and maybe Gus. Although Family sounds like a good choice too :?

Imagine a world before the "beginning was the word.”

I don't have any info on that clip. I've had it on my HD forever. I got it from the now defunct thehip.org FTP site. I recall hearing that The Hip recorded the song, and gave it to the guys in Rush, and the only way we as fans will ever hear it is if the guys in Rush decide to share it.
