Johnny In London
#31

I was outside the Bus Area about 15-20min after the show and there was in fact an ambulance and maybe another vehicle that left the back area where the buses were and 2 min before that a woman was walked across the street into a limo which also left. I have no idea if the those 2 things are related, I have no idea if the emergency vehicles were related to any band members, crew etc.. The sirens were on, because I remember them drowning out my conversation with someone.

The tweet says it all, Buses are in Toronto so all is well regardless of what happened.

Since this thread is all about speculation, I speculate that "the ambulance and maybe one other vehicle" were on stand-by in case Gord experienced any complications and perhaps "the woman" was a physician assigned for the same reason.

I was front-row behind the stage directly above the band entrance/exit hallway and can confirm what's already been said; that the drum tech was frantically working on Johnny's drums & mics for the last several songs and that Johnny left the stage without assistance after Courage looking a little pissed.

I used to work for one of the Knights' sponsors back when the rink first opened and would be in the bowels of the building every game, and if I recall correctly they always have an ambulance sitting out back. It makes sense, for an event that size, 9000+ people there's a good chance someone may suddenly need one. Having paramedics on site and an ambulance to whisk them away would be normal.

The other four seemed to be in good spirits when they were on stage for the second encore. If Johnny were in rough shape I don't think they would have lingered as long as they did, last show in town or not.

Hopefully everyone is doing fine and going to be firing on all cylinders again tonight.

It was my first show of the tour, so I'm not sure, but have the band members been giving pretty intimate kisses to each other after every show?

I've seen many a thread go off on a tangent from original topic, but this one isn't even tangent, its a complete off trajectory leap through a portal into some bizzaroland, LOL Confusedhock: Big Grin
