Just bought my tickets for the Nov. 28 show at the Fillmore-Detroit. (Still feels weird calling it the Fillmore. It'll always be the State Theater to me). I'm already jacked for this show!

9:30 Club, Washington. The band loves to play there I believe. Heck, Paul even used to regularly wear a "9:30" T shirt. Venue seems small in vids I have seen. Back in the day, they did a radio broadcast when at the 9:30 Club (Pre Phantom Power, when "best friends/escape" was showing up in NOIS).

BTW, WNY is a fav. of the band too. Gord has commented on how much the band loves playing the beautiful old auditoriums, the band takes pleasure in it...a happy band means a good show IMHO. Best Friends/Escape was first played in Rochester in the mid '90's in the middle of NOIS. A verse before the tempo change for escape all the speakers went dead except fot the bands monitors, so what we were a part of/hearing was partially lost due to no sound. I have a VHS tape with this show on it. I think I was still navigating the web using Netscape back then.
