Great show in Toronto this past Friday night. The band were in top form, and I certainly got my money's worth... Something I can't say about many shows these days.

There were three tapers in attendance. Here's a sample from my recording.

And here's the link to the full show: http://www.thehiptracker.com/details.php?id=480

Incredible show last night in Cowtown. The venue was terrible though. Century Casino? Really?? These guys should have been playing at MacEwan Hall. That being said, the place was jam-packed, the crowd was fantastic, and the beer lines were quick. All in all a great night of high octane rock n' f'n roll from Mr. Dillon and company. In terms of pure energy this was easily one of the best shows I've seen all year, right up there with Pearl Jam and The Hip. It's great to have them back. Setlist from memory (and not quite in order):

Tweeter
Pinned You Down
Settle
When Something Stands for Nothing
Cubically Contained
Been This Way for Years
Cut
Where Does it Go
F**k You
Losing Control
Cut Me Up
Mystery To Me
Blonde & Blue
Smile & Wave
Unsound
Oh My God/Sympathy for the Devil
------------
Three Angels
S.O.S.
Heart of Darkness
Take It
Cemetery

They also have a new album in the works with a tentative release for early 2017.

Saw them last night in Waterloo. Was fantastic.
They had Blow At High Dough and New Orleans Is Sinking (the latter with Hugh at the bar on the other side of the venue) during medleys.
Amazing.
