Pretty cool news if it's true. But only one show?? If they're gonna do a reunion, they should go all out like the Watchmen did and tour the entire country.

Speaking of Hugh Dillon, did anyone ever see the movie he was in called "Surveillance" that came out back in 2008? It was directed by Jennifer Lynch (David Lynch's daughter)....I didn't have great expectation on the movie, but it ended up being pretty good. Hugh's part wasn't big, but he is a pretty good actor as well....

If your at the video store and nothing else is in, I would definitely recommend it.

Unfortunately, I'll be in North Carolina that weekend, so I can't make it up to Toronto. I'm hoping I'll get another chance, but I'm not holding my breath.

I was at Thursday's and Saturday's.
Awesome.
Fuck the Sound Academy though.
Thank goodness I made the Thursday one.

I was at the Saturday Unsound Academy show too. What's your issue with the venue?

Far too long/narrow. Bad combo.
I don't know anyone who likes the place. Sounds seems good, yes, but sight lines for majority of the crowd are terrible.
I nearly lost my mind at the Them Crooked Vultures show there.
Either they sold way, way more tickets for that one, or people were way more crammed up front for the Headstones one (both were sold out).
Cuz at the back Saturday, there was at least the odd spot to breathe.
For TCV it was insane. When a show is sold out, and you're interested in being able to see, you have to either get there when the doors open, or be one of those types who has no problem shoving their way past people. Even then, go to the bathroom or to buy a beer and you're screwed. I appreciate that any 3,000-capacity venue is gonna have that issue to some extent, but when your venue is long and narrow, it just multiplies it.
I know people rag on the Kool Haus a lot, but it at least has width and isn't a can of sardines.
