Tessa Bonhomme sat in front of me in home room in grade 9, and was in some of my classes throughout highschool.

I think Cheryl Bernard pulled one of the biggest choke jobs in the history of sports tonight, you may have to go back to the time of the Romans to find an epic failure as big as this. She may as well have not even taken to the sheet tonight and just conceded victory to the Swedes before hand, it would have been less embarrassing and humiliating than what happened out there.

if the girl was wearing the stars and stripes on that jersey, she`d be on the cover of SI. all the bs about this celebration is reminding why i dislike america so much, bunch of fucking hypocrites.

Personally, I think its good for the winners to celebrate like this; I guarantee that the above photo would be on the cover of SI if the Americans won. Canada played a great game and kicked our ass, kudos to you. Now let's see if Ryan Miller and the boys in red, white and blue can do what the US ladies were unable to do...

Meghan Agosta deserves a cigar after the performance she had in the Olympics, MVP of the tournament!
That said, although honestly i could care less, they should of known better than to take the celebration back out on the ice IMO, surely they have known it'd create headlines.

I dunno, When I watched our Ladies get their Gold I literally got choked up from the pride I feel from being from Canada and the feelings they must go through in those moments must be overwhelming

hock: at the end of the day the Media or whoever can spin anything they want to in whatever way, lotsa jealous folks out there i'd say. And that guy in the interview is a knobb, I'm glad that woman stood up to him :thumb:
I will not give up. My face is set,my gait is fast,my goal is heaven,my road is narrow,my way is rough,my companions are few,my guide is reliable,my mission is clear. I cannot be bought, compromised, detoured, lured away, turned back, diluted or delayed. I will not flinch in the face of sacrifice, hesitate in the presence of adversity, negotiate at the table of the enemy, ponder at the pool of popularity,or meander in the maze of mediocrity. I will not give up,shut up or slow down....Blessed Be!
