Skippy and Direwolf74, the Gordisms you mentioned, do you find yourself singing these as you listen to the song? I don't just mean that particular live version of the song, but the song in general, wether live or not.

It was introducing "We'll go too," but I'm not sure which show.

I always sing along with the end of Springtime in Vienna the same way that Gord does on LBU....
"You're only 60 seconds on the dial, that takes a while"...
Or something like that. I can't listen to the song without doing that. Actually... I think Gord has STARTED doing that again at a couple of shows on this tour....

2000-10-03, Landmark Theatre, Syracuse during Poets
"Is there some kind of unrest in the pit? Is there some kind of problem with the... your view? What's wrong? Please I wanna know. Cause you can't keep giving me the finger and expect me to go on with the show. It has an effect. How could it not? I could try to ignore ya, but that's not the ticket you bought! And what about your friend, young Castro, where'd he go? That's how Milosevic started..."
When I made it to Syracuse this year, I finally got to see the orchestra pit to which he was referring.

hmm how about the intro to Ahead by a Century on LBU?
"This is a song that sort of explores the realm of Catharsis, and uh, my arse is... capable of more flush."
He uses this line in another song- Every Irrelevance I believe

I think of this everytime I pass it on the 401.
From the greatest Gord interview ever: (The two Gord's in a boiler room with that Wilechka fellow, 1998)
Asked about developing songs and experimenting on stage:
"We're about a process... a work in progress. We're not trying to hide the lights. it's like the Big Apple in Cobourg, where you can watch the Baker's do their thing..."
Just beautiful.
The Clifton Park Gordisms
I think they were pretty common
Poets - "it's the writers that get laid" like I said in my review, he did the swim rant at the end of this song
Nautical - "some pussy rocket"
M@W - "lalalal etc."
Blow - "Ann Margaret's scene"
Fully Completely - "I reccomend measures for ending this", it was one of the first songs. He gestured to the crowd and we were screaming and he said 'Ok you've convinced me, we'll play more songs' or something to that effect.
Bobcaygeon - he sang the little "I'll come back and marry you..." bit.
ATHM - don't think he used Tokyo. I know he said Buffalo and he did the "if I die of vanity" part even faster than the show for Toronto. It's the only live version of ATHM I have to compare it to.
don't remember any others.

I caught this one a while ago but never took the time to find the right thread until tonight.
During "Membership" at the 10.19.04 Rochester, NY show, "the fiercest architects" turned into "the fiercest guitar techs" .
Now that's freakin' cool! 8)
