One of my favourites, from 12.06.00, Kanata...Grace, Too...describing how to get to Kanata, mimicks a father/son conversation and ends with "NO DAD, I DON'T KNOW, I JUST WANNA KNOW HOW TO GET THERE!!!!" Ahhh, the magic of the live show....

---->>>>The Layers....The Layers of the Whale.....The Skin, The Blubber, The Underlying Connective Tissue....Have The Ability To Replicate Fluids In Motion,Almost As If The Big Whale Itself Were A Giant Piece Of Fluid Going Thru The Water... he is able to move through the water without Friction or Drag...i.e: Attaining Torpedo Speed and Expanding 1/10th the energy...this is what Hydro Dynamics Experts call Laminar Flow.......
---->>>>Thank you very much...Happy Canada Day to any canoes that we might have with us this evening....and I said it today and i'll say it again... Canada is 128 years old this evening. My fav is from Regina last year.
I wanted to bring a whale to regina, told me you've never seen one. I wanted to bring a whale on a flatbed truck to regina, but have you ever seen one? And this is september and the nights are getting cold and man this whale would not hold. We had a trail of seagulls following our whale truck, our whale oddyssey to the prairies. That's right.
I think that is how it goes. Gord goes on for a while longer and does some acting for us as he paddles his barge down the Hudson river as they got a little off course. This is one of my alltime fav moments and I caught it all on tape.

There is a great rant he gives in a 98 concert at Toledo. I guess some guy threw a bottle at the stage and Gordie went on to mock him. The guy must of felt like an idiot after that.
