agree with everything you say

It took me a while to warm up to Emperor Penguin for some reason, but one day when I was listening to PP cranked up loud and heard Paul's backing vocals... and it just really hit me hard at that time. That, and also realizing the greatness of Rob's guitar outro, meant that I finally truly understood the greatness of Emperor and now agree it's one of the best album closers I know of.

I also do like The Rules, as well... a good song on it's own like skippy said, but I also thought it served the same function as Thugs on DFN... not that Thugs and The Rules are bad songs, they're not (they are also very different of course), but to me they both served as nice breathers to the awesome songs on either side of them on their respective albums.
