Ya, pics weren't gonna happen...security was wicked tight. There was a few of us there that weren't on the original invite list, and we were given a pretty strict set of rules; like, if any of us pulled out our cell phones to make/take a call, or bring a camera, we were outta there right away.
We were also told not to "bug" any of the players...whatever that means.
Anyway, decent show...the sound was off at times, but I think it was the set-up, not the band. Gord was his usual self...a lot of interaction with the crowd.
A lot of players there, which was fun....they all seemed pretty bummed, and I can bet it was because of Ryan Smyth.
I didn't specifically write down any set-list, but they played a lot of WC, and some regulars from Yer Favourites...not a long concert, just a nice, intimate, short gig.
We left after the last song, but from what I hear, they all partied through the nite.
