All I'm saying is that they have written way better tunes IMHO, such as The Dark Canuck. I'm not saying it's a bad song, just that they have better stuff out there. I just find it odd that so many people absolutly love that song when , to me, it seems as though its a pretty standard song. But I guess that's why they call it mainstream.

agreed, after listening to WC constantly since Oct. 17th, Fly definitely is my least favourite on the album.

Well I'm in the minority, but at least I'm not alone. I've come around on LNIDYDLM after seeing it live (although the opening lines still bug me a bit) but Fly is still rather average in my book.

Immediately upon listening to the album Fly was a favourite but has slowly gone down the list for myself. Don't dislike it but it's a middle of the pack for me. Family Band has risen to the top in my books. Can't get it out of my head. "small group of people smokin"

Is that a "walking the thin line of blasphemy" reference. A fellow Clone!!

Yep, I was wondering if anyone would pick up on that! And to opiated, Ocean is not the most "overrated" tune, it is, in fact, one of the best tunes on the album. There is no negotiation on this. :x

I know this is a "Fly" thread but I have to agree on Ocean being over rated. Good, just not great.
