Now I know there is a copy of this show on Hip tracker but... i downloaded it and the quality was very poor to say the least. None the less I would love to hear a cleaned up version of the 2004 Sarnia Bayfest show... i believe it was july 17th if im not mistaken.

from the ones i've seen? (love to hear all of course!) but if i had to pick one, the 96 Saint John show, great energy that night (even if it was on a sunday instead)

1993 at Richardson Stadium in Kingston. It was the first "Big Hometown Concert" at the Queens University football stadium. Andrew Cash and The Headstones opened. To protect the football field, they laid 4' x 8' sheets of plywood down.

It started to rain and people picked up the sheets to keep themselves dry. And then people started to "surf" on the boards that others were holding up.

It's at this point that Gord started to harpoon them with the microphone stand. He was stepping gingerly between stage monitors while harpooning random fans on their "surfboards!"

I haven't seen this show on any trade lists.

I would really love to hear a Maple Leafs Garden Soundboard. Every Show there is just electric & would be great to hear a crisp version.

Also the second night of Victoria on the theater tour had a smoking setlist. Either of the two commodore show would be stellar as well

i am in agreement, the one i wanna hear most is dec. 13. 1996. 50mc that night was just phenominal.

anything from Sudbury would be nice...especially the Feb 15 99 show, they played some gems that night like Yawning Or Snarling, Cordelia, Escape, and We'll Go Too.

oh, and I would agree with Rory that 08/22/98 kicks some major ass. The zany animal kingdom thing he had all night was great, especially the little thing about the monkey and something about sticking his fingers up his ass and couldnt stop smelling them...or something like that. Absolute gold.

Any one of those ARA shows from 1993 would also be great (particularly 3 or so shows out East, i forget which now.) A lot of the recordings I have heard are not superb quality but the shows were great with Gord in fine political form.

And of course, let's not forget anything on the new tour!

I was at the Sarnia bayfest show... AMAZING show.. would love to hear it again aswell...

But I would kill for a coy of the Cayuga Speedway show back in around 95/96... anyone?? That was my first ever hip show. And I think anything from ARA would be great!

It would be cool if the band did current shows the day after like Pearl Jam and Metallica.

I appreciate the way the setlist is different per show for the most part. My all time favorite band is Rush, but if you see the first show and then the last, it's the same set.

There are a lot of changes currently happening @ <!-- w --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.livedownloads.com">www.livedownloads.com</a><!-- w -->. In January Phish (who use the same service) started doing live video Ipod downloads for $2 a track. I got a couple & they are really cool.
Yesterday they announced that you could buy their first demo by full album or track by track.

I would love to see the hip do a section of a la carte downloads of rare tracks & some sweet live ones. It would also be wicked if we got some live Hip videos for ipods. I for one would most likely buy the whole Fort York show on video if available.
