What shows would you like to see the Hip put out from the archive.
Myself to get a clean copy of shows I've been to would be my first choice.
My first show was 4/29/1995. I'd also like 10/19/2004 from Rochester which has an awsome version of 100th Mer. plus Wheatkings was great in that Gord forgot how to start the song and seemed a bit humbled by it.
I think the show I would like most is the Buffalo show 11/?/96 (forgot the date). I missed this show but I would believe it was recorded because it was the day before/after/around the Detroit show that became Live Between Us which is an amazing live album in itself. I have boots of all the shows above, but a clean SBD show would be killer.

In my time as a Hip boot collector, I have heard over 600 shows. In my ever so humble opinion, the best show that I've ever heard is the August 22nd, 1998 show from the Zoo Amphitheatre in Toledo, Ohio. You can feel the energy emanating from your speakers/headphones, coming from the band and especially Mr Downie. The setlist is about as perfect as I've ever seen. Gord was the most vocally animated that I've ever heard. The crowd was pulsing. This is the show that, if ever, should be released on LiveDownloads. I hope a SBD recording is in that huge locked cabinet in the Bathouse.

My first pick would be Aug 3rd, 1991 (my first Hip show), second pick would be Nov. 18, 1992. I had 2nd row seats for that Massey Hall show, and it is one of the few shows I've seen which doesn't have a known audience recording in circulation. Otherwise, any of the shows from the 1993 Another Roadside Attraction. :thumb:

I would really love to hear a Maple Leafs Garden Soundboard. Every Show there is just electric & would be great to hear a crisp version.
Also the second night of Victoria on the theater tour had a smoking setlist. Either of the two commodore show would be stellar as well
September 26, 2004 (The Trocadero in Philly). Best show I've ever seen. Great setlist with a rare Heart of the Melt!!!
PLEASE Oh pretty please. Oh and I agree with Dana. Hearing the Boot Pub shows from Whistler BC would be awesome too!
anything from Sudbury would be nice...especially the Feb 15 99 show, they played some gems that night like Yawning Or Snarling, Cordelia, Escape, and We'll Go Too.

1. Toledo Zoo (yep I was there and agree with the masses!) 8-22-98
2. Palace of Auburn Hill (big Phantom Power show full of great tunes! ie...Pidgeon Camera, Cordellia, the Rules, Escape...etc) 2-14-99
3. Cobo arena Evening with show. 12-2-00
I need to add something here when it comes to soundboard recordings....
They are great and I can't wait if it materializes. However, I will miss the crappy audience recording because of the intimacy with the crowd.... ie.... 5,ooo hip nuts singing Grace at the top of their lungs....
i have searched high and low for Chicago 10/16/2004. in my opinion of the 5 shows i seen that tour this was the one that stood out.
