I don't know what it is, but I can't stop listening to Wings part 1 and 2..........

haven't lost a mother or a parent yet, but this almost makes me feel like I would if i did, if that makes any sense.....

i'm not feelin those two quite so much...Vicariously has really grown on me though, the main riff is one of their best ever IMO....

Jambi is sweet, probably the heaviest song on the album...

Rosetta Stoned is just fucked up, but i like it...

i`ve listened to tool casually at best for a few years, mostly cause a buddy is a tool freak. at his insistance, i picked up 10,000 days and i`m glad i heeded his advice. the artwork is sick and the cd has the uncanny ability to literally shake my house. i gotta see these guys live and soon

Its been awhile. Got to hear about 4 new songs at Coachella. The show was insane. Tool fans are an intense group. I love the "who are you to point your finger" opening. Sounded the same live. He is a robot sent from the future to rock us.

I have to get this thread going again - I'm stunned that this album is not getting more talk here - it is truly an amazing recording. Vicarious, Jambi, Right In Two...all tracks on this disc are unreal. I just can't get over it. The Pot is something new all together - and I really, really like it. Has there ever been a Tool track that has been this (and this probably isn't the right term, but...) funky? It has a real head-nodding beat to it - kind of reminds me of a Living Colour track or something. That may be way off, but whatever. Just know that I'm totally digging it - and Tool has never been better. My friend who hasn't picked up the disc yet asked me to give a quick review and the best I could come up with was that it is a mix between Undertow and Lateralus - and it is amazing. If you aren't listening to this band you are really missing out on something. From Opiate to 10,000 - every disc is uniquely great, and worth picking up.
