All the best to you Ron, May the Creator take every last piece of that poison out of your being...
I will not give up. My face is set,my gait is fast,my goal is heaven,my road is narrow,my way is rough,my companions are few,my guide is reliable,my mission is clear. I cannot be bought, compromised, detoured, lured away, turned back, diluted or delayed. I will not flinch in the face of sacrifice, hesitate in the presence of adversity, negotiate at the table of the enemy, ponder at the pool of popularity,or meander in the maze of mediocrity. I will not give up,shut up or slow down....Blessed Be!

I wish you all the best Ron. Stay strong and you can fight this no problem. My friend's husband had this thyroid removed years ago and has led a healthy, normal life ever since. All the best to you and your family!

See if you can keep it after the surgery. Not enought people save their removed organs, and they make great talking points when spotted on the mantlepiece.
Good luck, and just be thankful you aren't suffering at the hands of the NHS ;-)

well surgery was a success . I am very sore my neck is swollen and black and blue. One good thing the doctor doesn't think that it was cancer but we have to wait a week for the biopsy results come back
happy canana day
and for all you seeing them this weekend have fun stay safe and look out for your fellow hipbaser .

I skimmed this post a few days ago, and I was wondering what happened, but it is one of those things where you don't want to ask for fear of the worst (I have a knack of putting my foot right in it on a regular basis 'Is your mother coming with you? Oh... your wife!')
So have you got something to put over the fire next to the family pictures then?
Wishing you a speedy recovery, and a cool scar you can say came from a dramatic adventure.
