I dont think Ive ever heard of a guy opening for his own band with his side project band, that would be bizarre.

i did see Paloma open up for 5440 once..( i think they were called paloma).which featured 5440 with Coco Love Alcorn on vocals (sigh..she was sexy..probably still is!!)..it was actually pretty cool as Paloma were quite a different band..very jazzy..sultry vocals from Coco!!!
