This might be a little late, but i've got a connection in Calgary. I used to work for & my family are great friends with Caliber Systems Inc. They are a fairly large heavy construction outfit; pipefitting, dirt, oil leases... If you're still looking, i can give you some contacts. I'm tight with the owner, he let me rip around in his 911 a couple of times, & he has a hot daughter.

I know them well from when I was an estimator with Clark Builders. I think it would be pretty hard for any company to beat the offer I have accepted though.

Well I recieved two offers today, both are fantastic. One is with a large architecture/engineering/design firm, and the other is with the Calgary Health Region. I'm going to take the health region one because there is absolutely no overtime nor any expected, I get 4 weeks holidays plus 5 earned days off per year, the benefits package is incredible, and the job and workplace seem pretty relaxed. The other job would have been great too, but I'm just at a different place in life with a daughter and all.

J-Monster, if you're ever thinking about coming out west, now's the time to do it. I have noticed a shit load of accounting related job postings. Good luck man!

Thanks Billy. Not sure if I'm ready yet to move out west, but someday I might just do that. I'm still pretty confident I'll find what I want here.
