Hip on Global next week

hopefully national love to spread the news around to people that haven't seen it yet (waiting to open it x-mas morning)

The tagline was "World Television Premier" and even though there are some of us that think the world doesn't extend outside of the GTA, I would imagine that Global throughout Canada would be carrying it at some point.

Its been on HDnet in its so it isn't a world premier.

I didn't know we were getting into technicalities here...I'm not the one that wrote the wording for the TV spot.

I'm not knocking you, just the fact that Sun tv doesn't know its head from its ass. Canadian Premier maybe not world premier.

I think it can be labelled the 'World Television Premier' because it's being played for the first time on network television. I can't even count how many times I've watched 'World Television Premier' movies on TBS after watching it countless times on Rogers on Demand.

I'm pretty sure that it does say, "World Network Television Premiere" on screen, but the voiceover says something different.

Yeah, on the tv listings, it shows it doesn't show it for Global Maritimes but it does show it for Ontario Global. Perhaps us folks out east don't get the broadcast. I don't have the DVD yet (actually I need to get a new DVD player to watch it first), so I was hoping to see this broadcast. Here's to hoping I don't get the damn Global News which is scheduled to be on at that time. Confusedcratch:

I wonder what they will cut. If anybody watches it, can they post what was shown?

Ok, so this goes back to somebody, way back, who mentioned the film quality of "That Night in Toronto."

Well, it's on Global in HD tonight - right now as a matter of fact. I'm only here bc I got a PM on my mobile and I like to answer them promptly if I can - anyway, I have an obscenely large, HD, TV - which I gifted to myself, almost, exactly one year ago - for working my ass off last year - anyway, broadcast in HD, on this monster of a tv, with 5.1 - well, it sounds and looks absolutely amazing!!

So there.
