I like Freak Turbulance. But I've been to two seperate shows (Including Boston3 with Casey in '02) where Freak was scheduled in the encore and then dropped in favour of something else... I wonder if the band doesn't like it.

The Bastard is one of my Fav Hip songs period, I like Wild Mountain Honey alot , I cannot see how it's a weak song..In any way , lyrically or otherwise. I understand how peoples opinions differ, I just see nothing wrong with it.

Oh, man. Turbulence is like my favourite song on that record! Agh! Maybe it's just hard to play. The only cut I have a problem with on M@W, or out of the entire Hip catalogue is the Completists. It's like Alanis Morrisette only without the attitude.
And I'll admit the end of DFN is a little offputting at first, but it grew on me.

The Completist and The Bastard are 2 of my favorite Hip songs... I never understood why M@W gets such a bad rap.... I think it great from beginning to end...

music at work was at the bottom of the list for a long time till i had a copy at work and kept playing it on days i forgot to bring in cd's. now its probablyt middle of the pack. lake fever is great and puttin down is a keeper. trouble at the henhouse, as much as i try to like it, is my least favorite.

4. another midnight
5. butts wigglin'
6. looking for a place to happen
7. tiger the lion
8. escape is at hand...
9. 3 pistols

I don't know why people tend not to like Trouble. There are some real gems in the second half. I loved M@W when it first came out. In retrospect, it's a bit long and cryptic even by Gord's standards, but I still like it a lot.

we all have our own personal reasons why each album is significant. for me, music at work album, brings me to a different place. i love cottaging in the muskokas, and when im not there, this album brings me there. just a relaxing, "sit out by the lake" album. :thumb:

I can't wait to sit out on a deck and listen to the new album with a beer in my hand... :thumb:

I think I was put off with TATH just because of Butts. It came out earlier on the Brain Candy soundtrack and I just hated it. I also really don't like Cream. It is the only hip album I actually don't like all of the songs. I really like the album but still skip Butts and Cream.

It's great to see a lot more votes on this poll. I started this thread over a year ago and not very many people voted!
So Day For Night is in first with Fully Completley right behind it. I'm surprised to see Phantom Power creeping up though. Up To Here is in 4th. I'd like to see this get up to 2 or 3 hundred votes. It would be interesting.
I still like Road Apples the best! I probably always will.
