I suggest a comeback of Jodie Foster in the role of Susan.

I think Kirk Gibson would play an excellent curmudgeonly lighthouse keeper.

They'd need to have a scene at the speedway, wouldn't they?

Of course. Then Anne Margaret would have to star as well. I can see the scene. Gord as a young, firey race car driver / fledgling singer-entertainer. Anne Margaret is the aging yet available daughter of the president of nascar. They meet as he is fixing his car..... breaks into song, romance ensues.

Man, some of those elvis movies were bad!

One of the funniest threads I've seen on here! I almost fell out of my computer chair when I seen Jeremy as Fay!... :thumb: Hilarious...

how about the hip try to release gus back to the wild, chase scenes, through chagrin falls, ohio and bobcaygeon, they could run into bob and doug mackenzie some where along the way like gord in his scuba gear with them in their van still drinking at the bottom of the lake ( love that scene from strange brew)

that all i have for now

and of course there has to be a little tribute to John Candy and the Canadian Bacon movie in there somewhere. Maybe Joe Pesci and his evil co-conspirators hatch a sub-plot about trying to get the Backstreet Boys more popularity than poutine in Canada??

As long as Paul is revealed as an international assassin somewhere along the line, I'll be happy.

(Oh, come on! You wouldn't mess with him, would you??)

What about a cameo from the Trailer Park Boys? Ricky could try to strong-arm Paul and steal his smokes.....
