I used to be a welder, I put a Tragically Hip sticker on my helmet too :lol:
Gave up the welding though, I hated every second of it. Not knocking your profession, it just wasnt my cup of tea, moreso because of where I was working not just the welding itself. When In Violet Light came out, I went to HMV at midnight and bought it and they had a draw going for a Hip prize pack, I threw my name in and guess what? I won! I got a bunch of stickers some postcards and a hat, I was the happiest guy in the world that day, Ive never won anything before. 8)

In Ontario, there are all sorts of logos you can get on your license plate such as the Canadian flag, the Star Trek logo, Queens University, Knights of Columbus, etc, etc., I think the HIP should have a HIP symbol made available with the Ministry oif Transportation. I know I'd get it. PS: Does anybody have HIP vanity plates?

"The Hip" was taken so I went with my second choice. Not a whole lot of design choices. The Great Lakes Splendor theme is about the coolest Michigan has.

I know Rory has an old HIP FAN license plate from Manitoba that Hugh got signed for him after the Halifax show in December.
I have one that says THEHIP11 and Chris Olds has one that says HIPFAN39.
Does anyone else have hip plates they would like to share?
