the watchmen broke up

really? that's horrible

Tell me about it, I am still heartbroken over that one

But:
The Weakerthans would be an amazing band to open, but as stated, I doubt that will happen....

[sabatooch]

I think it will be a band like Modest Mouse or maybe even The Trewes

WHAT NOOOOOOOOOOOO

and OMG The Deers, lets bring back that megaphone my ears were ringing he rest of the night.....Sorry if anyone liked them but those 2 girls who played the Keyboards looks bored stupid.....they were the worst opening act iI've ever seen i think, maybe a close second to By Devine Right....

hrmm there has to be a good canadian band who's songs don't all sound the same, and lets hope Sam Roberts isn't annouced I didn't like them much after the Hamilton shows, they sounded repetitive. Sure they worked hard, but why did everysong sound like it was originally supposed to be one 60 minute song :rambo:

What about Sarah Harmer I like seeing her Open, she was far better than Sam Roberts on the New Years shows in hamilton. :thumb: :jump

[thedarkcanuck]

count my vote for another "evening with" tour...that was like dying and waking up in heaven!

I was totally joking when i said the Dears. Usually when i mention the Dears is done sarcastically. I just dont get their music. Ive seen them twice live, at the amp. and listen to song of their other stuff, and most of it actually annoys me, not that its i like it or not but it actually annoys me, kinda like DMB :nooooo

Yes the Keyboard players appearred unhappy each night, and i was tired of watching that guy jump up on the drum kit platform and playing his guitar with his back to the audience. Once or twice, is kool, everyone song in 2 nights, just not cool.
