A bit of an update....e-mailed Bookie at 102.1, the DJ who started the rumours....I asked him about Canada Day in T.O., any new Hip news, etc....his reply...
we're hearing something on canada day stay tooned!

Edgefest is at the Molson Amphitheatre this year on July 2nd. The lineup is nothing to write home about though. It includes Good Charlotte, Billy Talent, Jet, Alexisonfire and others.

I'm going to confirm this right now that the hip are indeed playing july 1st at the molson ampitheather with opening act(s) TBA....

as for NYC, i was there, it was the hip. it was a heinekin show, with great big sea, and jeff healy, awesome, except they kicked the hip off stage after only 50 minutes!
