this would be a good time to enjoy a beer and listen to phantom power!

new page for new photographs: :p

Beautiful pictures guys! Glad to hear that everyone is safe. Stay inside and warm and down a few!
I am not a huge fan of bitter cold, but I love snow storms. I love seeing how deep it gets.
Its been boring here in Western New York, nothing too major, just real cold. I wish I had pictures to show you guys the storm we had a few years ago during Christmas week. I believe the official total was 81" (unsure of the conversion factor for you "northerners"). It wasn't a blizzard though, it was a lake effect band of snow that oscillated north and south for (I think) 5 days. It probably tracked no more than 90 miles north and south. The band was only like 20 miles wide and kept hosing us for days. The temps weren't too bad, neither was the wind. But the snow was insane! By the time I was done snowblowing and shovelling (I could not snowblow anymore because the snow banks were too high) I could barely see over the banks. Backing out of a driveway was suicide. You had have somebody wave you out. I had a blast though. Its amazing to see a comminity come together to help itself and each other out. I hope you have the same where you guys live.
Just my story, hope you guys are keeping safe and enjoying mother natures most beautiful sight.
Cheers!
Chad
