They did a free show at The Forks in Winnipeg & it drew close to 100 000 people

Nope. Richardson Stadium can only hold 8,500 and it's under construction until September. RMC can hold 20k.

The initial report was 80,000 people but the Winnipeg Free Press did story when U2 was here in 2011 about the biggest concerts in Winnipeg and they said the attendance was actually closer to 50,000.
