May 11 1995, Wild Wild West in Tucson AZ - still have the ticket stub. Was there on business and heard on the local radio station they were playing that night. I knew about them but didn’t even have one of their albums. Bought a $10 ticket at the door... best money I ever spent. They absolutely blew the roof off that place.

I had been a huge fan starting around 1996. In 2004 I convinced my buddy to go see them live in Sudbury by saying "Buddy can you afford $25 bucks? The second they got on stage and hit their first note I said "I wanna see these guys again!!!" That was 14 shows ago!

I was at that show too. Not my first but it was a great show. Met Gord at the hotel we were staying at.
Here is an old admission ticket from that show:

June 21, 2003 at SkyDome. Concert for Toronto. Wanted to see BNL and OLP too, but I had always wanted to see The Hip. Short set, but I was hooked. I still remember when they opened with Grace, Too.

being from niagara falls, ny you would think it was early. but i moved to florida in 1988. my younger brother was visiting with a friend and turned me onto up to here. have been a rabid fan ever since. unfortunately being in the vey south end of our country i never got the opportunity till 2002, when during the ivl tour they came to orlando and the house of blues. such a great show. brought my boss and a hip virgin. all he could say was "wow". since then have devoured everything hip for 20 some years. would love another southern swing. the show was small and full of expats. i was 5 feet from paul the whole show. and never forget kind of evening.

Aug 1993 at Chene Park in Detroit MI. Good show, didn't really convert me but it was entertaining. I didn't seen the Hip again until 1998 at the Toledo Zoo. THAT was the show that sold me...I GOT IT. Been hooked ever since.

Jan 1, 2000. My first non-friends from high school concert. The first professional musician I ever heard sing on a stage was Sarah Harmer. The live music obsession began that day.
What a solid lineup. Sarah Harmer, Julia Dorion, Headstones, Treble Charger, Watchmen, Cash Brothers and Das Hip.

I think the boys walked off early , after Gord got hit with a thrown jug of some sort
School Of Fish opened up the show
And Doug Gilmour and the Leaf's were battling Detroit in the playoffs
