Crash Vegas ARA, 93'

In 1996, Crash Vegas disbanded. Michelle McAdorey pursued a solo career, and Colin Cripps went on to join Junkhouse, which received their first widespread exposure when they opened for Crash Vegas during the Red Earth tour.

Hothouse Flowers, ARA93'

The Hothouse Flowers appeared at the Glastonbury Festival Acoustic tent in 2007.

Fiachna and Dave have also branched out with a former member of The Pogues to form a group called "Pre-Nup". They have recently opened some shows in America for The Hothouse Flowers. An album by "Pre-Nup" called Hell to Pay was released on 4th September 2007.

In late 2007 band member Peter O'Toole left as his son (Doolin) was scouted by Valencia FC.

Daniel Lanois, ARA 93'

Lanois premiered a documentary entitled "Here Is What Is" at the Toronto Film Festival on September 9th, 2007. The film, co-produced by Adam Vollick, includes footage of the actual recording of the album bearing the same name. The film also shows Lanois' usual collaboators such as Emmylou Harris, Billy Bob Thornton, U2, Brian Eno and Brian Blade. There are also guest appearances by Garth Hudson and Brady Blade Sr. Subsequent concert performances showcasing the new material were held in Toronto on the 10th and 11th, with Brian Blade on drums. The CD Here Is What Is was released in the spring of 2008; Lanois had previously made it available as a high-quality web download, via his new Red Floor Records label.

At the 29th edition of the Festival International de Jazz de Montréal, Lanois played four evening concerts at three venues and met fans for a question and answer session at the Salon des instruments de musique de Montréal.

Ziggy Marley & The Melody Makers, ARA95'

Live Vol. 1 is a live album by Ziggy Marley & The Melody Makers, released in 2000.

Spirit of the West, ARA 95'

On July 15, 2008 Spirituality - The Consumate Compendium: 1983 - 2008 was released. The 2 CD set includes 32 tracks of which 2 (Winter's Now The Enemy and Another Happy New year) are first time releases with the balance being remastered previously released songs which can be considered "greatest hits".

13 Engines, ARA 95'

They followed up with Conquistador in 1995, which gave them another hit with "Beneath My Hand".[2] While the album is generally hailed as 13 Engines' finest work, it did not do well commercially[4] and two members subsequently left the band. John Critchley attempted to carry on under the 13 Engines name, but retired the band before releasing another album.

Following the breakup of 13 Engines, Critchley continued as a solo artist and recorded an album with ex-13 Engines guitarist Scott Stevenson entitled "Crooked Mile" in 2000. He currently focuses his attention to producing and engineering at Toronto's Green Door Studios, which he owns[5]. He also scores film and television projects.

I've seen the Hip live 5 times, 4 as the headliner, and once opening for the Rolling Stones. The Sadies, By Divine Right, and Sam Roberts were already mentioned...so that only leaves the 2 Festival of Lights shows, so if you count those shows...Collective Soul, Matt Mays & El Torpedo.

Bands I'd like to see them share a stage with: Bon Jovi, Aerosmith, Motley Crue, Buckcherry, Leonard Cohen, REM, Joan Jett, Hedley, Kiss, and Cheap Trick. Or just bring back Another Roadside Attraction already!

Wilco opened for the Hip as well during the '97 ARA tour. That was my first exposure to Wilco, and I instantly fell in love with them.
