my fav bm song

i saw them open for lenny kravitz when s hoon pissed into the crowd, classic

i was there..what a wild night...halloween right?

Opiated, I hope you went to see Blind Melon and not Lenny Kravitz. 8)

both..lenny puts on a hell of a show, and his first 2 cds i think are brilliant

Agreed, infact the two following it are excellent as well. I saw Lenny open up for The Cult back in 91 and he was great.

The Blind Melon debut album is a classic early 90's album. However I never really dug 'Soup' much (or 'Nico'). The Unified Theory album someone posted about early is much better in my opinion (although not as good as the debut).

I echo Opiated's sentiments that I think Soup is one of the best albums ever.

definitly. I really got into soup, right after he died. One of the greatest. All those dark tunes.... Car Seat, about the lady that drowned her kids in the car, Skinned, about the serial killer, New life.... about knowing he won't be there for his daughter. It was like he knew his life was doomed. I saw them at woodstock 94, before soup was released. Only wish he could of given us a little more.

Look for a track called Wooh D.O.G. and an alt. version called Wooh G.O.D.

A demo and a live version respectively exist. Spine tingling...they are about Shannon's dog dying and saying goodbye to him.
