Unless that vid has been cut so it's all out of sequence, the beating happens after she pushes him towards the door, etc. Bad mistake -- push the drunk and you provoke him. That's what the cops are for.
Nobody should feel obliged to get beat up for a shitty, low-paying bartender gig.
Billy Wrote:... who knows just what was said by him to make her feel the need to push him. It's easy to watch a little snippit and comment on how dumb she was for doing what she did but in the heat of the moment emotions run high and people often don't think rationally.

I didn't call anyone dumb. I said it was a mistake. What he may or may not have said doesn't change that. It's not about who was in the right.
I'm simply observing that this is how we become authors of our own misfortunes. People get hurt on the job in situations like this by forgetting that when it comes right down to it, no one can criticize you for stepping out of the way and calling the cops.
Billy Wrote:The sentiment I got from your post was that you were absolving this guy from his actions and blaming her because she provoked it. She didn't cause this incident, he did and he should pay the price.
skippy the wonder dog Wrote:Do you have a special bullshit-inducing filter built into the language centres of your brain?
skippy the wonder dog Wrote:No? Then why would you shove a drunk if you were working as a bartender?
