my bad I didn't realize I was the last poster. The rest of the time though I don't skip songs because I dislike them I just skip them so I can listen to my very favourite songs.

i quite like Evelyn in a very campy, garage band way.

I can't really say that I dislike any song completly, but the middle section of the EP (From Killing Time to I'm a Werewolf, Baby) make up most of my disliked songs, with Tiger the Lion above them, but still less than most songs.

Other than those, I must say all the other songs kick my ass. Coconut Cream is fairly close to the bottom, as well. That's about it, though.

There are some songs that I always skip over, but recently (again on my commute to/from work (I have a long commute, what can I say!)) I played every single Hip album from start to finish, and I found that I was missing out on some of the songs I skipped over.

What's unique about the Hip is that every single album has a different sound, so while one might not suit your "type", you know you can go to an earlier or later album and find what you were looking for.

Wow!! I can't believe some of the songs making this list. It's really interesting to see how certain songs effect people differently.

For me it's "The Rules". The only song I could do without.

i can do without cemetary sideroad as well...

one song that i dont hate (actually i quite like), but am really disappointed in is daredevil... Way back when i was a hip N00b, i heard the slow version; and then got DFN about a week later and heard the fast version for the first time; IMO, it just doesnt stand up

It's going to take me about a week to pick up my jaw after hearing that. Man, I love that song, especially the lyrics to it:

'Salesman said this vacuum's guaranteed,
It could suck an ancient virus from the sea
It could put the dog out of a job
Could make traffic stop so little thoughts could safely get across.'

The sellout- I agree that the slow (and live) versions of Daredevil is worlds better than the album version. Come to think of it, I never actually liked the album version until I heard the slower versions, but now I love both. One of my favorites, actually.

Grant, a real hip fan.

You can check this type of attitude at the door.

One who thinks that his preferences must be shared by all is of small mind, and one who anoints himself as a greater "fan" than another based upon those preferences is of even smaller mind.

Tell me what else I need to like to be a "real fan", jackass. Confusedcratch:

I'm willing to bet a zillion dollars that he was being sarcastic. What I can't figure out is if horrible esthete is being doubly sarcastic.

Granted, I have a hard time identifying sacrasm on forums.....

.....but I think the chances of that post being sarcastic is about nil when he says "wow, unreal" then signs "Grant, a real hip fan".
