I thought I heard Brad Gushue say he didn't wear his medal as much going home because it's heavy and is sore on the neck after a while.

Imagine Klassen having to do that with 5 medals, yikes!

But yes, a huge congrats to Canada's Olympic athletes. 7 gold, 10 silver, 7 bronze, 24 medals in total, 3rd place overall. A great showing! And with several of our athletes being young and in position to peak in 2010 who either medaled themselves or just missed the podium by finishing 4th or 5th, the outlook for our team for Vancouver/Whistler in 2010 looks awesome!

Hockey for the 2010 Olympic games will be played on NHL size ice surfaces.
This should actually make for an interesting change of pace for the olympics.
