The Beatles broke up 40 years ago, The Stones have been going all these years, but when was the last time the did anything remotely relevant (a hell of a long time ago). Neil has been consistently putting out great albums reliably (when was the last time the stones released two or three albums withing two years?). To me he's a superior songwriter to the beatles/stones any day of the week
