Living in the Greater Toronto Area gives a fan access to a lot of shows within a few hours driving: Kingston, London, Buffalo, Hamilton, and Rochester are all easy round trips.
Throw in Montreal, Ottawa, Cleveland and Detroit and you have a lot of opportunities without having to travel too far.
