I think you should have included more options - 50+ 75+ and 100+. But don't do it now or your current results will be lost.

I agree with chris....for example, I've hit somewhere between 50-60 (which seems like alot to me), but that pales in comparison to some of the road warriors on this board (like T.H.E. union members)

I'm somewhere between 135 and 150, and my wife is at around 110. Impossible to pick a favourite but there are a couple that are right up there. One of them being Tucson '95 at "the triple W" (Wild Wild West). I was on a business trip, had no clue the Hip was playing there but I heard about the show on a local FM station. Half the people in bar had no idea who the band was, that combined with a high level of crowd inebriation, and a blistering set from the boys made for a memorable evening. Gord stopped the show 2 or 3 times in the middle of songs because of the raging crowd behaviour - at one point quoting lyrics from the Beatles' Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds " Picture yourself in a boat on a river, with tangerine trees and marmalade skies. ...". Another was Grape Jam '98 in Wattsburg PA; there were people actually selling cases of Canadian beer right at the entrance, fully endorsed by the "security" contingent. We walked in with our two-four and set up shop beside all the tapers near the back. A marvelous night of music with a full moon hanging over the stage. Regrettably the show was stopped short (during Fire in the Hole I believe) because the flimsy security snow fence that had been rigged up near the stage collapsed and a bunch of fans came tumbling down. I don't think anyone was seriously hurt but I read later through the Henhouse that a couple of people ended up in the hospital. Many, many other awesome shows and hopefully many more to come.

I have seen them 43 times, my wife was with me at all of them except 1. ( I could only get 1 ticket for the 2nd town ballroom show in Buffalo a few years back. ). Now I have my stepson joining in for 10 shows and my wifes best friend is now hooked after seeing them 3 times. My step son is 19 and has turned many of his friends on to the band also. My highlights are Philly on the IVL tour, that was the farthest I have travelled to see them, fantastic sweaty show with Thugs as an encore. And the recent 4 night stand at Artpark was unbelievable. They are better than ever and looking forward to at least 3 or 4 more shows on this tour. Ive met some people from this site and everyone has been very friendly and fun to talk to. I also want to take this opportunity to thank Chris, who I met in TO at the last Massey show who posts tremendous recordings of the shows. LONG LIVE THE HIP !!

I know there have only been a few replies to this thread, but I am truly amazed to read of people who have seen them 50 or even a 100 times. That seems incredible to me. I agree the Hip put on a great live show and it really is the best way to enjoy the band - don't get me wrong there. The commitment it takes though to see that many shows is impressive. The cash outlay alone could probably put a kid through university... maybe! Seriously I am envious. My 15 shows, while all memorable, pale in comparison. Funny thing is my wife thinks I'm nuts for having seen them that many times.

Same here. Going on 22 in Rochester. Have to throw a silver anniversary party when the time comes but that probably will happen in a few years given their tour patterns....unless they add some more US dates in the fall.

Ouch... I've been only 2 times! In my defense, that is due to the sparseness of concerts in Winnipeg. I have attended both shows since I have been a Hipbase member.
On the bright side, my count will surely double by the time September comes around. Not many of you can say that!

12 times would be my number(less than I want it to be but I live on the Rock). Had the chance to make a couple of great, memorable road trips during the IVL tour. I hammered in the new year with both shows at copps colisseum in 2002. Best show I attended would definitely, without a doubt, have to be Molson Amphitheatre Aug. 02/02. Salmon Festival 2005 in Grand falls, NL was also a great concert( very impressed with opener David Wilcox that day).
