I stopped counting after about 25, but I'm pretty sure I'm somewhere in the 30-35 range, including the two Fillmore shows in San Francisco this past weekend.

Too hard to pick a BEST show. Many are special for their own reasons.
i will hit 17 when abbotsford rolls around.....my first show this tour was seattle and i can't wait for more, they only get better it seems. Gord is just amazing up there. I'm meeting some nice people along the way too.

this september will mark my 31st, 32nd and 33rd shows since 1996. pretty average round these parts, though i have seen them front row on numerous occasions, and even won seats to the 'phantom zone' which put us infront of front row. can't complain about that...
Actually if you think the numbers through its not that extreme, especially for the original southern ontario addicts. Several shows shows per tour plus a few road trips into the US adds up pretty quickly. Not to mention dedicated tapers, I'm sure their numbers are right up there. At the end of the day its not really about the number of shows, IMO its a bout the experience, one show or a hundred shows the end result can be pretty similar.

Location, location, location.
Living in the Greater Toronto Area gives a fan access to a lot of shows within a few hours driving: Kingston, London, Buffalo, Hamilton, and Rochester are all easy round trips.
Throw in Montreal, Ottawa, Cleveland and Detroit and you have a lot of opportunities without having to travel too far.
When I see them in Denver in November that will be 26. I don't think that is too shabby for someone living pretty close to the "lower" neighboring country.
It takes lots of effort, much travel, and a wee bit of money to enjoy them, but I have never ever been dissappointed in any show, ever. :thumb:

#15 for me will be the London show next month. First show was in 1999. Most memorable was easily Lee's Palace in Toronto in February 2002. Anyone who lived through the experience of both the leadup to the show (many hours standing in the pouring rain waiting for the doors to open) and the insane intimacy of such a venue will never forget that day.
