It's been a long time coming...

All kinds of promise of b-sides, re-issues, etc - and then nothing.

And Gord's live "singing"... Ugh. I'm done with it.

Just read through this whole thread again and I cant help but to think there was a certain cynicism in the original post, no?

I also took a spin through this thread again. Lot's of head shaking and fans guessing "what happened???" to a band who used to always seem to be moving forward and who had such a dedicated fan base. I actually hope they are done and concentrate on their solo careers and finally open the Hip vault and give us the b-sides and live stuff we've been hankerin' for. The Hip gave me a soundtrack to my life for over two decades. The albums, the shows, the musical inspiration and even the conversation on forums like this were always something to look forward to (musically). I have only great memories of the Hip and I don't want to shell out un-necessary and absurd cash to see them scream through their singles. The Hip were ALWAYS a no-brainer when the shows were announced for me. One of those "must do's", I would make sure I cleared my schedule to catch them here in the Detroit area. I'm thinking I'll save my cash and simply head to my personal Hip archives when I need a fix Smile

Maybe we'll all be wrong on here and the band will rest up and do a smaller venue tour and pull out all stops.... maybe do that entire album tour we've been hoping for. Isn't it about 25 years since the release of their EP? :thumb:
